James Cleland Buddhist Jade Necklace Sterling Silver Gold
James Cleland Buddhist Jade Necklace Sterling Silver Gold
Namaste! James Cleland has paid more than a respectful tribute to Buddha and the Lotus flower.
The Lotus flower in Buddhist symbolism “represents purity of the body, speech and mind, as if floating above the murky waters of material attachment and physical desire.” Jim’s lotus flower is bursting forth with a deep green jade center surrounded by gold and accented with other gold flowers.
The door pattern is an incredibly intricate, hand cut colony of bats exiting the cave as you open the door. Inside the door, placed in a cave, a carved jade Buddha figure is encased in gold and surrounded by stalagmites and stalactites. Camouflaged creatures lurk in the cave.
The dragon ascending up the side is a symbol of enlightenment.
